From Road Trips to Flights

Travelling with babies can be challenging but with some planning and preparation it can be a fun and memorable experience for the whole family. Here are some tips for road trips and flights with babies:

Road Trips

  1. Plan your route and stops in advance. It’s important to factor in frequent breaks to feed, change, and stretch your baby's legs.
  2. Pack a bag with all the necessary baby essentials, including nappies, wipes, formula, bottles, and a change of clothes.
  3. Bring some toys, books, and snacks to keep your baby entertained during the trip.
  4. Make sure to have a first aid kit on hand for any emergencies
  5. Be flexible with time. Remember that travelling with a baby can be unpredictable, so be prepared to change your plans if necessary.

Flights

  1. Check with your airline to see if they offer any special accommodations for travelling with babies, such as priority boarding or a bassinet.
  2. Pack a carry-on bag with all the necessary baby essentials, including nappies, wipes, formula, bottles, and a change of clothes.
  3. Bring along some toys, books, and snacks to keep your baby entertained during the flight.
  4. Consider using a baby carrier or stroller to make it easier to navigate through the airport.
  5. Feed your baby during take off and landing to help ease and discomfort caused by the change in air pressure.
  6. Remember to pack enough supplies for unexpected delays

We believe the key to a successful road trip or flight with a baby is to plan ahead and be flexible. Be prepared for unexpected situations, and don’t forget to enjoy the journey with your little one!
